The Neag School brand identity is composed of visible elements used to distinguish our brand and unify our various units. This includes things like wordmarks, Neag School colors, and preferred fonts.
Neag School Wordmark
The University’s schools and colleges are the second tier in the UConn wordmark system. These wordmarks cannot be altered or replicated, but are available in a variety of layout and color options. Full sets of each established wordmark are available for download from our School and Departmental Wordmark page.

Fonts
To maintain integrity and cohesion of the University and Neag School brands, the following typefaces are preferred for print projects. Fonts used by websites are generally set by the University's template that most sites already use. Outside of these fonts, simply utilize discretion when choosing fonts that complement the Neag School brand. Google Fonts is an excellent source for free, high-quality fonts.

Good Karma - Available on Adobe Fonts with subscription or from Neag Communications*
*"Dancing Script" is a good, free alternative for Good Karma. It can be found on Google Fonts. Or if you're using Canva, we recommend "Playlist Script."
Do not use:
UConn Extended. This font is only used for the UConn wordmark. No title, text or other usage is allowed.
Please note that when used in cases other than the wordmark, the word UConn should simply be written as ‘UConn’ not ‘UCONN’. Likewise, Neag should always be written as ‘Neag’ not ‘NEAG’.
Graphic Elements
The Neag School uses a graphic element of three rows or three columns of dots in its designs. Graphic elements are intended to add visual interest or texture to a piece. They are not meant to be the main focal point. They may be displayed in an accent color, the whole element or partially cropped.
Brand Messaging Platform
What is a brand messaging platform and why is it useful?
Simple: a brand messaging platform provides everyone in an organization with clear, consistent, and impactful proof points to highlight our strengths. If we all "speak the same language," we can drive home what makes the Neag School of Education a major contributor to instructional and research excellence.
Members of the Neag School of Education can view the Brand Messaging Platform page.
